A Puritan Catechism: Question 47

Q. Which is the third commandment?

A. The third commandment is, "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain."

I find it interesting that not only does the Catechism cover each commandment, it also has questions about what those commandments entail.

Indeed. What is also interesting is that there are separate questions for the commands and prohibitions of each one.
